Prevent Strategy and information leaflet for Parents and Carers

Prevent Strategy - What is it?    Prevent leaflet for parents.

Communicating with parents - Parentmail and Arbor

Parentmail - We will use Parentmail this academic year for emails, forms and payments.

Arbor - All parents have access to Arbor Parent Portal, our whole school information management system.

Parents can log in and view their childs academic progress (through our curriiculum tracker), attendance, behaviour logs, as well as update details and give consents.  We recommend parents view information on a regular basis.

Class Reps.

There are usually two parents for each class who take on the role of Class Rep for one year. This role is hugely valuable and enjoyable if you have a bit of time and are interested in building and strengthening the community around your class, and across the school.

If you would like to know more about this, please talk to your class teacher and the school office and have a look at the 'job description' below which was co-written by our Class Reps last year. It gives you a really good outline of what being a class rep involves.

What does a Class Rep do? (job description).

If you're not sure who your class rep is, please ask your teacher or the school office and they can put you in touch.
